Camping is a fun, affordable and adventurous way to explore the natural beauty of Uttarakhand. The state has many destinations that can be explored by camping such as Nainital, Rishikesh and Haridwar among others. 1. Corbett National Park

The first spot for camping is the famous Jim Corbett National Park. Situated in Nainital, Uttarakhand this national park has everything to offer from wild animals and birds to dense forests. There are many campsites along the banks of Ramganga River where you can pitch your own tent on a wooden platform overlooking the scenic beauty around you. The best time for camping here is during winters as it gets much too hot during summers. However, there are alternatives such as bathing under natural waterfalls or taking long walks through serene landscapes that make up for this drawback!

It’s located along the banks of Ganga and there are more than one campsites, beaches where you can pitch your own tent on wooden platforms with all amenities available such as electricity, clean drinking water etc. The best time to visit this destination would be during winters (November till February) when it’s neither too hot nor cold but pleasant enough
